Salsa in the Street is heading indoors! With rain in the forecast, we're moving the entire event to The ARC to make sure everyone stays dry and the dance floor stays fabulous.

Good news: the schedule and plan stay exactly the same — same lesson, same live music from Salsa Del Soul, same Latin DJ to keep the night going.

Beverages will be available for purchase, so come thirsty and ready to dance!

Are you ready for the last Dance of the Summer!?! Mark your calendars, Winona, because this one’s going to be HOT. The ARC will be twisting and vibing to the sounds of LIVE Latin music at the much-anticipated fall dance “Salsa In The Street!”

On Friday, September 18 from 6-11 pm, the community is invited to a free dance party thrown by River City Ballroom Dancers/Breitlow Ballroom. April Dahl will teach a beginning Salsa lesson from 6-7 pm, Salsa del Soul will provide LIVE Latin music from 7-9 pm. Late-night Latin dancing will continue on from 9-11 pm with DJ Max.

Salsa del Soul is a Twin Cities-based, nine-piece orchestra that performs various styles of dance music from the Spanish-speaking regions of the Caribbean. They represent some of the finest talents in the Twin Cities Latin music scene with styles including Son, Son Montuno, Plena, Cha-cha-cha, Bachata, Merengue, Timba, and, of course, Salsa!
