Salsa del Soul at the Vintage Band Festival
Vintage Band Festival 2026 will take place Thursday, July 30 – Sunday, August 2, 2026. This year’s festival will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the annual Northfield, Minnesota tradition.
The roster of bands will include ensembles from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Washington D.C., Florida and Europe. Two European bands will be performing: Moritz & Co., a brass septet from Austria and Original Drachenfelser Musikanten, a brass quartet from Germany.Be sure to follow Vintage Band Festival on Facebook and www.vintagebandfestival.org for the complete band roster, schedule of events, and updates as they happen.

Salsa del Sou l is a Twin Cities-based, nine-piece orchestra performing various styles of dance music from the Spanish-speaking regions of the Caribbean. Salsa del Soul was formed with the purpose to provide great dance music for Twin Cities Salsa fans. The musicians of Salsa del Soul represent some of the finest talents in the Twin Cities Latin music scene. The styles of music they perform include Son, Son Montuno, Plena, Cha-cha-cha, Bachata, Timba, and, of course, Salsa!
Charanga Tropical performs with an instrumentation that dates back to the roots of Cuban music featuring a sizzling Latin rhythm section, three violins, vocalists, and flute. Repertoire includes rarely heard danzones and a spicy variety of modern son , salsa , cha cha cha , and timba . The music is rich in harmony and melody, fantastic for listening and superb for dancing. Smooth strings, Caribbean beats, and a sound that inspires visions of Old Havana at sunset. This is Charanga Tropical .

Salsa del Soul at Salsa in the Street - Winona
Are you ready for the last Street Dance of the Summer!?! Mark your calendars, Winona, because this one’s going to be HOT. Downtown Third Street will be twisting and vibing to the sounds of LIVE Latin music at the much-anticipated fall dance “Salsa In The Street!”
On Friday, September 19 from 6-11 pm, the community is invited to a free dance party thrown by River City Ballroom Dancers/Breitlow Ballroom. April Dahl will teach a beginning Salsa lesson from 6-7 pm, Salsa del Soul will provide LIVE Latin music from 7-9 pm. Late-night Latin dancing in the street will continue on from 9-11 pm with DJ Max Ortiz from Rochester.
Salsa del Soul is a Twin Cities-based, nine-piece orchestra that performs various styles of dance music from the Spanish-speaking regions of the Caribbean. They represent some of the finest talents in the Twin Cities Latin music scene with styles including Son, Son Montuno, Plena, Cha-cha-cha, Bachata, Merengue, Timba, and, of course, Salsa!
This incredible event will be on Third Street at the corner of Center Street (in front of Blooming Grounds).
ALL ARE WELCOME at this party...Come fill our street with music and dancing for the final event of the season!
